Affiliate Program

Exceptional New Mexico scientists may apply for a Research Scientist affiliation with the NMC. The affiliation allows researchers to pursue funding and support research programs within the NMC. If the researcher's home institution will not be the NMC, these affiliations are visiting positions. Visiting positions require prior approval of the applicant's management and compliance with the policies of the home institution. NMC provides research administration and facilities, a vibrant scientific community and facilitates connections with our institutional partners.

NMC grants affiliations to researchers with an exceptional track record in their field of research at universities and other research institutions. Researchers must demonstrate their qualifications through publications and successful proposals. Additionally, applications are evaluated on their scientific merit and how well they complement New Mexico Consortium programs and focus areas.
