34th Annual Supercomputing Challenge Registration and Kickoff Coming Soon!
The 34th Annual Supercomputing Challenge registration and Kickoff Session are coming soon! Registration will run from August 15 through September 20th.
What is it? The Supercomputing Challenge is an exciting program open to all interested middle and high school students. Each team of up to five students and a sponsoring teacher defines and works on a single computational project of their own choosing over the school year. Throughout the program, teams are given help and support by their project advisers, the Supercomputing Challenge organizers and sponsors.
The Supercomputing Challenge is open to all students across the state of New Mexico and has no grade point, class enrollment, or computer experience prerequisites. Participants come from public, private, parochial, and home-based schools in all areas of the state.
Teams who register should plan to attend the annual Kickoff Training Session which will be held in Socorro, New Mexico, at New Mexico Tech on September 30 – October 1, 2023. Attending students and teams will receive general information, an overview, keynote session, classes, and will learn more. Room and board will be provided.
Again, registration is coming soon and will run from August 15 through September 20th.
To register or learn more, please contact consult@supercomputingchallenge.org with any questions or to get an invite to the new website in progress.
