Andrew Bradbury Presents Webinar on Antibody Libraries
Andrew Bradbury, Chief Scientific Officer of Specifica, will present a webinar on Specifica’s Generation 3 Platform of Antibody Libraries in collaboration with Noah Ditto, Project Manager at Carterra.
The webinar will be held on April 1, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, emerging technologies have enabled the biopharmaceutical industry to develop therapeutic antibodies at an unprecedented pace. Advances in antibody discovery, screening, and characterization have made it possible for researchers to evaluate large numbers of antibody candidates more quickly and efficiently than ever before.
Carterra’s LSA platform provides the screening and characterization throughput needed to keep pace with today’s state-of-the-art antibody expression platforms. By enabling rapid and comprehensive screening early in the discovery process, the LSA helps researchers identify unique epitopes and potential novel therapeutic candidates more efficiently.
During the webinar, Andrew Bradbury, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer of Specifica, will discuss Specifica’s next-generation antibody library platform. He will explain how the Generation 3 platform provides robust antibody diversity and supports the discovery of high-quality therapeutic antibody candidates. Bradbury will also discuss how Carterra’s high-throughput kinetics and epitope binning technologies have enabled the rapid discovery of SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies.
Noah T. Ditto, Technical Product Manager at Carterra, will present on the role of high-throughput Surface Plasmon Resonance (HT-SPR) in transforming antibody screening and characterization. His presentation will highlight how HT-SPR allows researchers to identify and characterize promising therapeutic candidates in days rather than months.
Learning objectives for the webinar include:
- Rapidly characterizing large panels of antibodies for kinetics, affinity, and epitope diversity
- Obtaining high-quality data directly from crude supernatants
- Accelerating library-to-lead triage
- Building a stronger intellectual property portfolio
This webinar will provide valuable insights for researchers and organizations interested in accelerating antibody discovery and improving the efficiency of therapeutic candidate selection.
