Time to apply for the Dr. G. Robert Keepin Nonproliferation Science Summer Program
Calling all interested students: It is time to apply for the Dr. G. Robert Keepin Nonproliferation Science Summer Program.
This 2025 summer program is an 8-week intensive program that will consist of hands-on training, complete with seminars and tours as well as a research internship.
The program is designed for students from the Nuclear Science and Security Consortium (NSSC), and hopes to bring together 20-25 of the best university students and a handful of experts in the nonproliferation world, exposing everyone to the unique facilities that LANL has to offer.
Interested students should contact their faculty advisor or the NSSC Program Manager. A limited number of spaces are available for students from outside NSSC. Participants must be US citizens and enrolled in an accredited full-time upper-level undergraduate or graduate program in science and engineer or relevant fields.
The deadline for applications is December 6th, 2024.
See the official flyer detailing the program and application information.
NSSC students should adhere to their own internal deadlines. For students outside of the NSSC, application materials (PDF) should be emailed to KEEPINschool@lanl.gov by December 6, 2024. Applications must include a Resume/CV with updated contact information (Email, Phone, Address), a one page cover letter detailing your research interests, and an unofficial transcript. Students enrolled in graduate programs should also provide a letter of endorsement from their academic advisor.
