The New Mexico Consortium, along with more than 50 other local businesses and organizations, is participating in today’s Los Alamos Job Fair. The event, a joint venture between the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce and the University of New Mexico–Los Alamos, is being held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the UNM-LA campus.

Employers attending the fair represent a wide variety of industries and career fields. Opportunities range from positions in the medical field to jobs with Los Alamos National Laboratory and its contractor companies, as well as many other local employers. Job seekers can learn about openings at Pet Pangaea, elder care service providers, and Jona Manufacturing Services. Los Alamos County is currently hiring for a number of positions, and companies such as Edgewater and COMPA are also seeking qualified applicants.

In addition to full-time career opportunities, a variety of seasonal and temporary positions are available. Attendees can explore summer camp counselor positions, summer jobs at Angel Fire, and employment opportunities with Buffalo Thunder Resort.
