nEDM2023 – The 5th Workshop on Searches for a Neutron Electric Dipole Moment Coming in November

nEDM2023 is the fifth workshop in a series of workshops to discuss the challenges  of the world wide experimental search for the electric dipole moment of the neutron. It is organized by Los Alamos National Laboratory, the University of Michigan, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

The workshop will be held at the beautiful Hotel Santa Fe, Hacienda & Spa on November 6-9, 2023.

The scientific topics to be covered at the workshop include:
  • Experimental techniques
  • Sources of ultracold neutrons
  • Transport, storage, and handling of ultracold neutrons
  • Magnetic field sensing
  • Magnetic field control
  • High voltage, and electric field control
  • Simulation tools
  • Systematic effects
  • Theoretical background
  • Other related EDM searches
