NMC Participates in STEM Boomerang Job Fair
Friday December 20, 2019, the New Mexico Consortium (NMC) participated in the STEM Boomerang job fair and holiday mix, held 9am – 1pm at the Electric Playhouse in Albuquerque, NM. The NMC joined other professionals in science, technology and math (STEM) which included a broad range of organizations, nonprofits, national labs, industry, business people and government officials.
The goal of this “Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Expo” or E3 event is to work together to stop brain drain and keep STEM professionals, students and graduates here in New Mexico. This annual event is a great resource to connect STEM professionals with local career opportunities!
This year’s job fair included 35 companies and will be held at the new Electric Playhouse scheduled to open February 1, 2020. The Playhouse, which will offer digital entertainment, dining and an immersive experience, provided a sneak preview of its entertainment venue for participants.
