New Mexico Federal Business Opportunities Forum

New Mexico Federal Business Opportunities Forum

The Energy, Technology and Environmental Business Association (ETEBA) will hold the New Mexico Federal Business Opportunities Forum on Thursday May 2, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza in Albquerque, NM.

The focus of the Albuquerque forum will be procurement related protocols and opportunities with DOE, NNSA, and prime contractors in the southwestern U.S. including Los Alamos, Sandia, WIPP, and the Nevada National Security Site among others.  Doug Hintze, Manager of the Los Alamos Environmental Management Field office, will open the event, and Kathye Segala, Associate Laboratory Director for Capital Projects for Triad National Security, LLC, will be our featured lunch lunch-time speaker, and she will give us an update on recent developments in the procurement and management of capital projects at Los Alamos.  We’ll also hear from the Small Business Administration and Bass, Berry & Sims on a variety of recent business-related legal developments that impact both large and small businesses, and we’ll end the day with an afternoon networking reception that will give attendees the opportunity to meet one-on-one with procurement representatives and buyers from the various sites. Current sponsors for this event include Platinum Sponsors: Edgewater Technical Associates and Banda Group International ï Gold Sponsor: Huntington Ingalls Industries

The day after the Albuquerque forum we will host our annual New Mexico Scholarship Golf Tournament.  ETEBA makes annual donations to scholarship funds at three universities in NM including UNM – Los Alamos, NM Tech, and Central NM Community College, and the golf tournament is one of our primary sources of funds for these donations.  We hope you can take an additional day off (it is Friday, after all) to enjoy a round of golf while simultaneously contributing to this worthwhile community initiative. Current Scholarship Sponsors include Platinum: Banda Group International and Huntington Ingalls Industries ï Bronze Sponsors: AWD Management Services and Empowered Global Solutions (EGS).

Information on the Federal Business Opportunities Forum and the Scholarship Golf Tournament can be found at: https://eteba.org/newmexicoforum2019/.  Sponsorship opportunities for both events are still available.
