Register soon for the 33rd Annual Supercomputing Challenge!

Calling all students! Planning has started for the 33rd Annual Supercomputing Challenge, and interested students should register soon!

The Supercomputing Challenge is a program for middle, and high schools students to come up with a computational science project and work on it throughout the year in a team. If you are interested in participating this year, registration opens September 1st! Students must register to participate.

All registered students and their teams must plan to attend the IN-PERSON Kickoff at New Mexico Tech which will be held in Socorro, NM on October 22-23, 2022. Check-in for the Kickoff will be from 9:30-11:30am in the Joseph Fidel Student Center on October 22.

The afternoon of October 22, participating students will attend the Keynote speech and classes. A pizza party will follow with another Keynote and evening elective classes.

Sunday, October 23, students will attend morning classes, lunch, and a Keynote from our first place winners from last year.

Students will depart from New Mexico Tech around 1:00pm.

Keynotes and some class sessions will be virtual for those who cannot attend in person.

Rooms and meals are paid for. Teams are responsible for transportation to and from Socorro.
