2022 TMD Collaboration Meeting Takes Place June 2022
We are pleased to announce the 2022 TMD Collaboration Meeting, to be held in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The 2022 TMD Collaboration Meeting will be held June 15-17, 2022.
Learn more and register on the TMD Collaboration Meeting website.
The meeting is sponsored by the TMD Collaboration (The DOE Topical Collaboration for the Coordinated Theoretical Approach to Transverse Momentum Dependent Hadron Structure in QCD). This Collaboration was created to support a wide network of researchers in QCD (Quantum Chromodynamics) to undertake a multi-faceted approach to explore the full 3-D structure of the proton, hadrons, and nuclei, to understand, among other puzzles, the origin of their total momentum and angular momentum in terms of their fundamental constituents, quarks and gluons.
The mission of the annual TMD Collaboration Meeting is to discuss the year’s major progress and next year’s goals. The 2022 Meeting will be the fifth one for the Collaboration, 2020-21 having been skipped due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It will allow us to report to one another on the research progress in the preceding years, overview the progress of the Collaboration during the entire project period, and look ahead to further follow-on projects to build on the work of the Topical Collaboration.
See the TMD Collaboration Meeting website for more details.
This event is supported by the New Mexico Consortium.
